The Process
Every individual arrives with a unique history, physiology and set of experiences.
For that reason, BioSoma does not follow a standardised treatment protocol. Instead, the process is designed to identify the factors that may be contributing to dysfunction, adaptation and symptom persistence within the individual.
The goal is not simply symptom management. The goal is to understand what the body has adapted to and identify opportunities for change.
Client Intake
The process begins before you arrive.
Prior to your appointment, you will complete a detailed client intake form covering the following areas:
Current symptoms and concerns
Health history
Previous injuries, illnesses and diagnoses
Lifestyle and environmental factors
Significant life events and stressors
Existing treatment approaches
This information provides the foundation for the session and allows patterns to begin emerging before the assessment even starts.
Assessment & Clinical Mapping
Your client intake form is reviewed and discussed before the assessment begins. This allows me to determine the primary focus of the session.
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I assess the following biological domains to determine which are contributing to your presentation.
Musculoskeletal function
Autonomic regulation
Immune and inflammatory processes
Hormonal and endocrine influences
Metabolic and energy regulation
Brain networks and neurological function
Genetic and epigenetic influences
Emotional and psychological patterns
Relational and attachment dynamics
Cellular bioelectric function
Subtle anatomy and biofield dynamics
As the assessment progresses, the unique story behind your presentation begins to emerge, revealing how these biological domains interact to shape and sustain your symptoms.
Calibration
Once the assessment has revealed the story behind your presentation, treatment is provided in the form of a calibration.
Calibration is designed to help the body reorganise around a more coherent and adaptable state by addressing the recursive patterns contributing to your presentation.
Depending on your presentation, this may involve:
AC Calibration
DC Calibration
Torus Calibration
Each calibration builds upon the changes achieved previously, allowing the system to reorganise progressively over time.
Integration
Adaptation takes time.
Following each session, changes are monitored and reassessed over time.
As the system changes, new layers of information may emerge and priorities may shift.
The process therefore becomes one of continual refinement rather than a single event.
What To Expect
Some individuals experience significant changes quickly.
Others require a more gradual process.
The duration depends on the complexity of the presentation, the nature of the adaptations involved and the individual’s ability to integrate change.
BioSoma is not focused on chasing symptoms.
It is focused on understanding why symptoms exist, why they persist, and helping the body regain the capacity to adapt.
